In the 1880's, many settlers were still 'going West' and fashioned their wood farm wagons into 'covered wagons' by outfitting them with protective covers stitched out of heavy, cotton duck material. The covered wagon comes from a simpler and less hectic time of more than a century ago- a time before motorized forms of trans- portation were available or affordable. Hansen Wheel & Wagon Shop's location on the plains of the Dakotas provides the heritage of the pioneers and cowboys who developed this region. We draw from that history and a natural appreciation for the old ways, to authentically reproduce these custom-built western-style wagons--the vehicles that crossed the plains and helped build a new nation.
Covered wagons avalible in manyu sizes and styles from decor to trial ready wagons. Prices start at $1800.00 for decor to $7900.00 for using wagons.
