South Dakota’s fall weather is continuing into winter. Moderate temps and no snow accumulated so far. We have been busy greasing the squeaky wheel. The summers projects became fall projects. A cannon, logging wheels and chuckwagons have filled the shop. In the past weeks we have shipped to Australia, United Kingdom – twice and pleasantly have had 5 or 6 others picked up or shipped. With some much needed room freed up, we’re looking forward to the Holiday Season.
As many may expect we are preparing for another big year. We hope all of our supplier’s and customer’s businesses have prospered in 2006.
We had a lot of interesting projects this year and met a lot o nice people as well. Some projects include, a stage coach for the Eiteljorg Museum of Indianapolis, a couple nice original hitchwagons from Budweiser Clydesdale Operations, these were great wagons and mostly original with few alterations, It was great to work on an original wagon for we can learn a lot from these rare pieces. We also built a new hitch wagon for Cap Cod Hitch of Nova Scotia, numerous chuck wagons, sheep wagon, and restorations. Never a dull moment in the shop.
With winter coming up we would like you all to size up any needed work on your vehicle and plan accordingly to allow for shipping delays and or supplies that either need kiln drying time or custom felloe or spoke replacement. Please call and let us help you plan ahead to meet your schedule.
Watch our website, we are nearing completion of a long overdue overhaul soon to be released.
A Big Thanks to all of our customers for your patronage. If we can be of service, you may contact us at:
